Ambassador in Training
My name is Elijah, but everyone calls me Eli. I am almost 1 year old and I am the newest member of the family. I am learning to listen to commands and I get so happy when I finally do something right. I am really good at fetching the ball and catching the Frisbee. I enjoy swimming with my big brother Bruno and taking long walks in the park where we find lots of other friends to play with. I plan to go to hunting school soon, but my mom will miss me too much.
I want to learn Zeke’s old job which is to give the patients encouragement and help them feel more comfortable. Dr Sue says I have to wait until I grow up a bit more, but it is taking a really long time, and it’s so hard to wait. So for now, I help out at the front desk. You will often find me sitting up on the chair in the checkout area watching all the activity (I mean…. working).
