Dog, cat or ferret owners can get a $40 rebate from Cook County when they have their pet spayed or neutered in February. Must be a Cook County resident, and you will only need to bring their pet to a participating veterinarian. Pets must be current with their rabies vaccine and have a county rabies tag. There’s a limit of two pets per household. The $40 discount is applied the day of surgery.
