I lived in Chicago since 2011. Before moving here, I worked at the Humane Society of Pulaski County. That is where I found my passion in the care for animals. Since being here I have continued working with animals. First at a doggie day care, then an animal hospital, that is where I have picked up most of my medical training and knowledge. I started working at TLC First in 2013. This is where I have developed additional skills with animals as well as expanding my knowledge in working with exotics and holistic/alternative treatments.
Since living in Chicago I have earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Sciences, and I am currently in school working on my Bachelor’s Degree in that same field. In 2017 I completed the PeopleFirst Leadership Certificate Program through Zoetis. It has been exhausting, yet thrilling balancing school, work, and a social life but, the rewards outweigh the difficulties.
My family is just me and a loveable cat named Cleatus. We spend our time cuddling and napping “whenever possible”. Otherwise, I spend as much time as possible doing the many things Chicago has to offer.
